The Cantina Valpolicella Negrar wines are now available in Germany through GES Sorrentino, Delmenhorst.
Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is located in the heart of the Veneto and is described by Sorrentino as the “inventor” of the Amarone because it already used this name on its labels at the end of the 1930s.
The cooperative cultivates 700 hectares of vines and is therefore very versatile. In 2019, WEINWIRTSCHAFT recognized it as the best winegrowers’ cooperative in Italy in a performance test.
»Our cooperation is a stroke of luck for both sides. Cantina di Negrar has the opportunity to gain even greater distribution in the German market thanks to the pronounced product range and our targeted work. And we are pleased to be able to add items to our range that interpret a long oenological tradition in a very modern way. Production follows strictly sustainability criteria in every respect, which is an increasingly important argument for the specialist and catering wholesale trade. And in the end, all the wines, from Soave to Appassimento to Amarone, offer a sensational price-enjoyment ratio, «says René Sorrentino happily.
Daniele Accordini, General Director and Winemaker of the Cantina Valpolicella Cooperative, promises: »Productive performance and high quality standards do not only apply to the terroirs in the DOC Valpolicella and Verona, we guarantee the same level and innovative energy for our IGT wines from Veneto. In connection with our new cooperation, we are launching new wines on the market – with innovative and sustainable features. «
