The 2016 vintage was “impressive” for Valpolicella and Amarone: this is how the American journalist Tom Hyland describes it on Forbes, the most famous magazine in the world on rankings, economic culture, entrepreneurial leadership, innovation and lifestyle.
His positive evaluation is particularly valid for the Domini Veneti ORGANIC Amarone rated as EXCELLENT:
“Domini Veneti Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2016 – Beautiful deep young garnet; aromas of ripe raspberry, clove and baking spices. Medium-full, this is ripe, but not overly so. Rich and elegantly styled with good acidity, medium-weight tannins, nicely integrated wood notes and subtle black spice notes in the finish. Approchable now, but better in another year or two, with peak drinking in 10-12 years. Excellent”
